Giving a Hand to Several Good Causes!

In over half a century of existence, Groupe Lepelco has learned to weave close ties with its many customers, suppliers and business partners. At the same time, we’ve always taken the time to get involved with many community agencies in our area, also establishing solid relationships with them.

As the years went by and we learned to appreciate the highly dedicated people who work in these groups, one question kept haunting us: How could we make our contributions even more significant and ongoing? One day, the answer came to us quite naturally: In February 2007, we decided that each time we signed a new contract, Groupe Lepelco would donate 5 $ to one of the organizations we had decided to support. Depending on the choice of each client, donations are therefore handed out to either of the following associations:

Hébergement Maison de la Paix inc. (French only) : $1,385.
L'Association de la Vallée du Richelieu pour la Déficience Intellectuelle (French only), which supports parents and friends of mentally challenged people: $8,085.
La Maison de la Famille de la Vallée du Richelieu (French only), which offers help and support to families who are undergoing unusual circumstances: $8,480.
La Maison Victor-Gadbois (French only), which offers free palliative care for terminal phase adult cancer patients: $11,260.
L'Arche Beloeil (French only), which is a meeting place for people who may be mentally challenged or not, and who seek to live in a community centered on faith and sharing: $7,470.

The total donation to this date is $36,680.

In its own way, each of these organizations makes a difference for people who are really in need, and we are very proud to offer them our support. Both for the staff and management of Groupe Lepelco, it’s simply a question of values.
